As a name, Vieni means “come in” a warm, open invitation that sits at the heart of this new Birmingham restaurant. It’s also the guiding principle that’s shaped every part of our approach to the design and build.
Due to open later this year, Vieni is more than a hospitality space, it’s a concept built around welcome, ease and intention. And as 2G’s latest hospitality project, it’s a perfect example of our design and build process in action.

Designing the Welcome
When we began working with the client, they had a clear idea: create a space that invites people in. From the name, to the layout, to the atmosphere it holds. That clarity gave us a powerful brief, and we embedded ourselves early into the thinking, exploring the site, the brand ambition and the experience they wanted to create.
From there, our design team developed a concept that puts openness and warmth at its core, with spatial planning, materiality and lighting choices all working together to support that sense of ease.

Built Around Real Hospitality Experience
Our background in hospitality means we understand that a great customer experience is only possible when the space works for the people running it. For Vieni, we’ve created a layout that considers everything from the pace of lunch service to the slower rhythms of evening dining.
The result is a space that flows: practical for teams, generous for guests, and perfectly in sync with the concept.
Design x Build = 2G
Because we manage both the creative and construction phases, we’ve been able to move from concept to build without friction, refining details, managing costs and keeping the project moving with confidence. It’s the benefit of our integrated model: one vision, delivered by one team, under one roof.

Coming Soon
With construction underway and the final details taking shape, we’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes over the next few months.
For now, here’s a first look at Vieni. It’s everything we stand for: meaningful design, seamless build, and spaces that truly welcome people in.
