As 2G has the distinct benefit of an in-house build team all of our designs are created with a deep understanding of its execution.
We spend the time to understand you, your business, your market and what makes you unique. At the briefing stage you will have an in-depth meeting with the design & the build team so that all options can be explored and allow for true creativity.
Creating concepts
This is where the magic begins. We will work with you to start bringing your vision, goals and surroundings to life. We start with a full analysis of the site, including market research of the area & zonal analysis, to get the best understanding of the requirements & capabilities of the space. We embed ourselves into the brief and into your company, as a team, pull together
our creative ideas. These are brought to life with mood boards and an exploration of materials to bring all the elements together to create your perfect concept as the backbone of the design.
Layout options
Have you ever been to a place and can see that it does not work? Yet you just don’t know why. Space planning is absolutely crucial to the functionality of an area and, at this stage of the process, we ensure this element is nailed. With 2G’s experience we understand what is required to have optimal use of space to create true efficiency. We create a number of options that we work through with you to ensure that the ideal layout is produced for you.
Material selection
Our knowledge of materials is extensive and at this part of your journey you will see and feel the different materials and start to immerse yourself in the design. We work closely with our suppliers and care for materials that are sustainable, beautiful and fit-for-use to provide the longevity and quality you require.
3D modelling & visuals
2G will bring your designs to life with gorgeous 3D visuals and walk through videos of your space. We demonstrate it through a daytime and an evening setting to allow you to imagine and appreciate how it will evolve. You can start to truly visualise the transformation that we are creating to make your dreams
a reality.
Technical pack
The clue is in the name…at this stage we will provide a detailed technical drawing pack. This will include your lighting plan, joinery work, floor finishes, small power plan, elevations and sections. We will give you schedules for the furniture, lighting and fittings that include details of suppliers, costs and lead-times. This will give all the details required for the construction team to create the vision.
Build costs and value engineering
Once we have completed the designs our build team will create a a full breakdown of the costs. From this we will work with you to see if and where value engineering is required. As 2G have both the design and build team under one roof we can efficiently provide an accurate quote and be able to adapt the design and costs in unison to save time and additional expenditure.
