A beautiful Grade 2 listed, 4 storey office building in the heart of Birmingham provided a blank canvas for the 2G team to create an inspiring space for a CatA+ fit out. We wanted to create something that felt unique and premium, but with scope for different businesses to rent the spaces and apply their own stamp. Our brief was to design a space to embrace new ways of working, enhance productivity and demand higher rents from incoming businesses.
The Challenge
Working with a Grade II listed building that demanded respect, but needed to feel modern and unique. To create a space without a specific company in mind; we enjoy creating creative spaces that resonate with the brand of the company. So we needed to ensure it didn’t look like the other generic offices on the market but also mouldable to the high-end clients that will be renting out the space.
