Meet the team

Coming from a long line of architects, surveyors, and joiners within the family Nick trained as a construction project manager to postgraduate level, after a psychology undergraduate degree. As a former fine dining chef and Member of the chartered institute of builders Nick has a vast wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to designing, planning commercial spaces & understanding human behaviour.

Nick is a firm believer in continued improvement and installs a culture that strives to be the best at delivering spaces that enhance the user experience.

Nick says all of 2G’s projects are his favourite – but if he had to pick one it would be The Joint Works. Creating beautiful offices from a Grade II listed building was a great project to take on.

Nick Jones – CEO

Catherine studied interior design at KLC and Central St. Martins, after a ‘full on’ & successful career in the international wine industry before teaming up with Nick to start 2G. Catherine works to develop the commercial & creative direction of the firm and ensures that all projects, whether bar, restaurant or office space, are meticulously penned before work starts.

Catherine would say her favourite project was Chakana. Developing a gorgeous Peruvian restaurant from an old bank was a perfect project…..and adding in her Chilean heritage to the mix added to the joy!

Catherine Gwynne – Commercial Director

Annie studied Interior Design at De Montfort and has worked for over 15 years as an Interior Designer across different practices and sectors. Her portfolio of impressive projects spans across the commercial sector including hotels, bars, offices & restaurants. Annie has an awesome eye for detail and always looks for new ways of thinking.

Creativity in all she does and building strong and lasting relationships has been a key driver for Annie. Her favourite project is The Circle Lounge at The Hippodrome

Annie Wearn – Head of Design

Neil brings over 30 years of experience in the fit-out sector, with a portfolio that spans retail, commercial, cultural, heritage, and residential projects. With a first-class honours degree in Quantity Surveying and a strong commercial head, he plays a crucial role in the preconstruction phase interrogating risks early and shaping smart, strategic decisions from the outset.

Having worked as both a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager, Neil brings a rare balance of technical knowledge and big-picture thinking. His insight keeps project teams aligned and commercially focused from day one.

When he’s not guiding projects through complex early stages, Neil is either at the piano or out on his bike, though never both at once!

Neil Fox – Pre-construction lead

Sean started his career as an electrician and has extensive knowledge and ability in all areas of the construction process. He has trained on site with 2g to gain level 6 site management award and has become an experienced construction Project Manager. He is an invaluable part of 2G and his natural ability to communicate effectively with everyone has made him a popular team member, not only within the fold, but with clients too.

Sean also says that all of 2G’s projects are his favourite….forever the diplomat! But he would probably say Tap & Tandoor….as it was one of his first restaurant and bar design & build projects that he did with 2G.

Sean Hubball – Project Manager

Sebastian’s career began in bespoke bench joinery, where he developed a deep understanding of materials and craftsmanship. After studying Interior Architecture and Design in his hometown of Birmingham, he moved into commercial design bringing with him a hands-on approach and a sharp eye for detail.

With a strong background in workplace design and build, Sebastian is especially passionate about 3D planning and visualisation. He thrives on the process of turning a virtual concept into a fully realised space, and loves seeing projects come to life from the screen to the final fit-out.

A keen traveller, Sebastian draws creative inspiration from the traditions and design principles of cultures around the world.

Sebastian Da’Costa – Designer
